Bhartiya Bhasha Diwas at Eindhoven Library by Indian Center in Netherlands (ICIN)
The Indian Center in Netherlands (ICIN) celebrated Bhartiya Bhasha Diwas on 7 Dec 2025 at the Eindhoven Bibliotheek with a lively and inspiring program led by Vishwanath NG, whose dedication and vision were at the heart of the event. Distinguished guests included Mayor Jeroen Dijsselbloem, Mrs. Tara Pathak, Counsellor (PE) at the Indian Embassy, Mr. Albert Kivits, Mrs. Miriam Frosi, and Maudy Keulemans-Kuttukaran from ASML, who praised Vishwanath’s remarkable contributions and presented a special gift from ASML in his honor.
The celebration opened with ICIN’s inspiring Netherlands-made version of “Mile Sur Mera Tumhara”, followed by heartfelt speeches acknowledging Vishwanath’s commitment to promoting Indian culture abroad. Children brought vibrant energy with storytelling, creative drawing, and a fun quiz, engaging the young audience and highlighting the joy of learning about language and heritage.
Mayor Dijsselbloem and Mr. Kivits unveiled the new Indian Book Collection at the library and presented gifts to all children. Cultural highlights included the release of BeatzWave’s Hindi song “Maa Ki Boli” and the launch of “My Story Between Two Worlds”, authored by Vishwanath NG and unveiled by Mrs. Frosi.
The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, celebrating ICIN’s mission and Vishwanath’s tireless efforts in uniting the community, preserving culture, and inspiring the next generation.
