Indian Language Storytelling for Children
The Indian Center in the Netherlands (ICIN), in collaboration with the Eindhoven Library and Veldhoven Library, and with the support of dedicated volunteers, is launching Indian Language Storytelling sessions.
Storytelling sessions will take place every weekend at both locations. Each session will feature stories in a different Indian language. Please refer to the table below for the schedule, dates, languages, and locations.
Participation is free of charge, however registration is mandatory.
Languages Planned
The following languages are currently planned:
Organized by ICIN:
Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, Gujarati, Odia
Organized by Indian individual volunteers:
Hindi, Bengali, Marathi
(These sessions are led by enthusiastic Indian women volunteers at both locations.)
Activities for Children
Before each storytelling session, there will be fun play activities for children to help them feel engaged, happy, and ready to enjoy the stories.
